The journey of my growth comes from trying and learning best practices from every genre of photography, each has helped me refine my craft. While I don't offer all types of photography, I studied them so I could combine important photographic elements and techniques from each niche into my current offerings.
 

Here is what I learned:

Real Estate photography taught me the importance of lines and framing.

Newborns helped develop patience but more importantly the reward of set preparation.

Landscape Photography taught me how to combine the smallest of details like the tiny droplets on a leaf with the largest, like a majestic waterfall flowing in the distance.  

Modeling and Fashion expanded my knowledge in advanced posing and high end editing. 

Weddings refined my abilities to coordinate in a fast paced environment and really showed me how to capture authentic connections between two people.

Corporate headshots I found how a viewer's first impression can be altered just by changing the angle of the camera and position of my lighting.

Seniors provided me value and knowledge of local one of a kind locations that work best based on one's personality and recreational activities.

Events are where I learned how to tell a story from candid's alone.

Family photography prepared me for ever changing situations and how to work in the means of borrowed time with fast paced children.
Each of these teachings play a role when I am behind a camera. They allow me to execute stunning images proficiently through thoughtful evaluation of my surroundings and subject matter. And unlike Photographers who practice just one craft, I can continuously take unique and breathtaking images regardless if it's my first or hundredth time at a location.
